For sellers

Why sell on BarnBridge

Free to list, no commission on livestock, and buyers message you directly. Here's the straight version — including what we don't do.

What you get

Listing is free

A fixed-price listing costs nothing to post and nothing when it sells. There is no listing fee, no success fee and no commission on livestock — the buyer pays you and you keep it all.

Buyers don't need an account

Anyone can browse and open your listing straight from a Google search or a shared link. Nothing is hidden behind a signup wall, so your listing works the moment you publish it.

You deal with the buyer directly

Messages come to you. You agree the price, the paperwork and the hauling with the person who is actually buying — no middleman taking a cut or rewriting your terms.

Your listing gets its own page

Every listing is a real web page with its own address, so it can be found in search and shared to a group, a text message or a sale flyer.

Post it from the pasture

The whole thing is built for a phone. Photos, price, location and description in a few minutes, standing at the gate.

Auctions if you want them

If a timed auction suits the item better than a fixed price, that's available too, with proxy bidding and an increment ladder. Auction terms and fees are set out in full in the Terms of Service.

What BarnBridge does not do

  • BarnBridge is an advertising venue. We do not inspect animals or equipment, verify health, ownership or title, or guarantee that a listing is accurate.
  • We do not process payment for livestock, hold funds in escrow, or offer buyer or seller protection. Money goes straight between the two of you.
  • Health certificates, testing, brand inspection and any other paperwork are the buyer's and seller's responsibility, under the rules of the states involved.
  • The site is young. Some categories and states are still empty, which is exactly why an early listing tends to be the only one on the page.

The full rules are in the Terms of Service.

Put something on the board

Takes about five minutes from a phone. Free, and you can take it down any time.
