Tractor pricing
Used tractor prices by horsepower
Horsepower sets the ballpark. Age, hours, brand and options decide where inside that ballpark a tractor lands.

What moves price inside each class
Brand matters: John Deere and Kubota hold value best, with Case IH, New Holland and Massey Ferguson close behind. Value brands start lower and depreciate faster early.
Options move real money — front-wheel assist, a cab with heat and air, and a loader. Hours are read against age: normal hours for the age mean the tractor prices on condition.

Common questions
- Most used tractors around 50 HP sell between about $18,000 and $40,000, depending on age, hours, brand and whether a loader and 4WD are included.
- A used 100 HP tractor typically runs from about $45,000 to well over $90,000. Cab, front assist and hours make the biggest difference.
- Not always. Compact and small utility tractors have the deepest pool of buyers and sell fastest. Big row-crop tractors bring more dollars but take longer to sell.
- Listing equipment on BarnBridge is free. Equipment auctions carry a 4% seller fee ($75 minimum) and a 5% buyer premium ($75 minimum), each capped at $2,500, and no subscription is required.
